Pokemon Colosseum is the first RPG (role-palying game) for the Pokemon world on the Gamecube. It was played by thousands when it came out in 2004, and wowed us. Pokemon were shown in 3D, and you could see the battling between the Pokemon. Gone are the days of wondering what a tiny Torchic looked like against a Groundon! Storyline
You are the main character known as Wes. (You can pick one of the four names the game gives you or you can make up your own.) The beginning scene is one where you have infiltrated the Team Snagem hideout. You stole the Snagging machine and blew up their hideout! It was awesome doing it, I know! You ride away from the hideout on your motorbike and come to the Outskirt stand... and the adventure begins.
The main goal in the game is to capture the Shadow Pokemon and convert them to where their hearts are fully open. You also need to defeat the guys who had their hearts closed enough to do that to the Shadow Pokemon. Click the pitcure to go to the main walkthrough.
Pokemon Colosseum v.s. Pokemon Stadium?
It doesn't take much to realize that Colosseum and Stadium are somewhat alike. They both have the 3D Pokemon and the chance to battle them in 3D. Both were made the first of there consoles: Gamecube for Coloseum and the NIntendo 64 for Stadium. But Colosseum doesn't have the Gym Leader Tower or the minigames; Stadium doesn't have any of the RPG mode. Which do you choose is the better game? Answer our poll down at the bottom of the page!
Battling for the Ruby and Sapphire?
In the game, you can battle with a already selected group of Pokemon or you can transfer the Pokemon from your Ruby, Sapphire, Leafgreen, or Firered game onto the battling screen in Pokemon. Play with a group of two-four people, and use your Gameboy SP or Gameboy Advanced to control your Pokemon onscreen. Win or lose against your friends in this little sidegame. *No Pokemon Experience or Pokedollars is won from these battles!
