The yellowYellow version is athe mixedthird version of Redthe andPokemon Blue.games. It'sIt is most like the TVRed and Blue games, but the storyline was made to fit the t.v. series forbetter. The Indigo.game includes the Team Rocket trio Jesse, James, and Meowth, new choices, and Pikachu following you around! Aww...
Here is a complete walkthrough of the game.

Pallet Town
First, Prof. Oak gives you a introduction about the game. Next, you wake up by your bed. Go to your PC at the top-left corner and withdraw a potion. Head downstairs and out the door. Go right and up into the grass. Oak comes rushing at you telling you don't go in the grass. Suddenly a wild pokemon appears. It's a cute little Pikachu! Oak catches it. Then he takes you to his lab where your rival (we'll call him Gary) is waiting impatiently. Oak chats with his grandson and finally he allows you to pick up the pokeball on his desk. Go try and pick it up, but Gary will shove you and take the pokemon himself. How rude! Oak yells at Gary then gives you the Pikachu he caught earlier. Proudly walk away. Gary stops you for a battle mid-way. The pokemon he stole from you was a Eevee.

Pokemon Yellow Game

Gary's Eevee is tough, so be prepared. Tail whip is going to get you so watch out! The potion you received earlier will help a lot. If you win, Pikachu will be level 6 and learn Tail Whip. Gary makes a promise to win, then says his goodbye, 'Smell ya later!' After Gary leaves Pikachu breaks out of his ball. Oak explains the situation and Pikachu will stay out of the ball. You can talk to it to see how it feels about you. If you didn't use your potion during the battle, repeatedly use it on Pikachu, even though it doesn't work. Talk to Pikachu and Ta-da! He's happy! Leave the lab and head up to the grass to begin your journey to Viridian City.

Route 1
Route 2 is a small pathway to Viridian City. Go past the first ledge and see a man facing a bush. He is an employee from the Pokemart. He gives you a potion as a free sample. If you already used your potion earlier, use this one on Pikachu, if he has full health. Keep on going upward and you'll see Viridian City.
Pokemon:
Pidgey: lvl 2-8
Rattata: lvl 2-4

Viridian City
Welcome to Viridian City! First thing's first, heal Pikachu. There's nobody important to talk to in town yet. The old man up ahead won't let you through until you deliver Oak's Parcel. Next go to the Pokemart. There, the cashier will give you Oak's Parcel. You need to deliver that to Prof. Oak! Go down to Route 1.

Pallet Town
Welcome back to your home town! Go to Oak's lab and chat with him for a bit. Then you give him the parcel. It's a Pokeball! Oak starts to ask you a favor when Gary shows up. Oak tells you his favor; to complete the Pokedex. Oak gives you the Pokedex and Gary remarks that he dosen't need you. Then he tells you he's going to get a town map from his sister and tell her not to give you one. But of course, let's disobey Gary and go get a town map. Exit the lab and go to the house right above the lab. Gary's sister is sitting at the table with a town map. Talk to her and you'll get the map. Now back to Viridian.

Viridian City
On your trek back to Viridian City, up the level of Pikachu. I'd say about lvl 10 since you a have a battle later. Go up and heal your pokemon then buy some pokeball's at the mart. Now let's head to Route 22, to get some good pokemon. As you walk, you'll notice a tiny path in the bushes. Follow it and then touch the tree. You'll get a potion!

Route 22
This is Route 22, the Pokemon League path. You can find 4 pokemon here. Beware, after the first patch of grass is Gary, waiting for a battle. Gary has a lvl 9 Spearow and a lvl 8 Eevee. You will get past it easily if you have a level 10 Pikachu and a lvl 9 Pidgey. Once you defeat Gary, it's time to catch pokemon!

Go back to the tree and go left. Up ahead is another trainer with two Caterpies, both lvl 7. Keep going up, grass or path. Another Trainer. He has a two Metapods, both lvl 6, and Caterpie, lvl 6. After him, go left then up to get a potion. Then go right or take the pathway. Go down and yet another trainer. He has a lvl 8 Caterpie, and a lvl 8 Metapod. Keep following the path. When you see a Trainer's sign that says no stealing, go right. You'll find another potion. Continue the path. Another trainer! He has a Caterpie, lvl 10. That's your last one. Look! The exit! Yeah!
